Dian Hong Old Tree

Dian Hong Old Tree

Original Description

A beautiful black tea, completely oxidized. The leaf is picked from old bushes that are wild to call. The tea comes from Yunnan and has a very nice deep taste and smell without being bitter. It is a sweeter tea and very accessible.

  • Eyetime: late March / early April
  • Lincang in Yunnan Province
  • Planting height: 2,050 meters
  • cultivar: Feng Qing big leaf

The bushes that this tea is made of are about 200-300 years old. They grow in an area where further maintenance is not carried out, no fertilizer is used and no pesticides are used. The bushes grow slowly and the deep roots and the environment provide a very nice taste, as the Dian Hong should be traditionally.
